just have a quick question for anyone out there, I would like to know if door panels on cavaliers from 1997 -2002 can be universal. As i have a 2002 but dont like the door panels and want to change them to the 97 style .

yes their all interchangable. my dad has a couple 95's, 96's and all have 2000 and up door panels.

nah they are a little bit different. my 97 has vinyl on the top half. i hear that later years door panels are fully plastic

they look indentical. the 95-99 the top part is vinyl. on the 00-05 the top part is plastic.

most people go the opposite way than the original poster. since it's easier to paint the all plastic ones found on later years.

Anyone know where I can find some?

this is something i run into at work, check the manufacture date, your car was probably made at the end of 99 and they just called it a 00 and changed a few things and not others, its still considered a 00
