How does say a VIS CF hood stand up to rock chips? What happens? The same pitting as on a painted hood?

but on the bright side when your looking at a weave of fabric not a solid steady surface such as paint it will be alot harder to see little nicks and chips in the surface

well, if your driving it on the highway everyday, get a bra thats easy to put on and take off quickly..

or, take the backroads!

Thanks for the input guys -- having never owned CF anything I didn't really know how it would hold up

Although the rocks probably aren't that bad down here (Atlanta) so i should be fine. A bra isn't really an option unless they make one that fits a streetfire front end.
