Hey! If anyone out there on the "interweb" can help me out you can have my first born! I'm looking for the paint code for my 97 Z24 it's green I don't have the "WA" code (Sticker by the spare is damaged) but GM tells me thier paint code is 37(Based on the vin number) , I believe the color is manta green, but I'm not totally sure.....

I thank you all in advance!!!!

You can ask GM for a new RPO code sticker... I got mine free Then you can get the WA code from it....

If it's the dark metallic green you're referring to... then yes, that's Manta Green Metallic. I don't know the official name for the teal green/blue colour.

Hey Thanks John, That sounds like a plan! I 'll add that to my "Things to do " List for monday morning, however if anyone else has a "Manta Green Metallic" -97' Z24- and feels to look for thier paint code before monday, I might be able to get a gallon of paint mixed for tomorrow afternoon, which would make me very happy.

Your body shop will have alist of all paint codes for 97' and for gm in 97' i don't think they will have one color that close to the one you want and then yours some shops have a laser gun that will scan the color on your car and tell you the paint code and what is needed to match it even with the fade in your paint some Carstar shops have it good luck

thanks Greg! that will help loads! I would have brought the car to a paint shop to get it color matched but at the moment it has no doors, hood, trunk, windsheild, front fenders... so getting it there would have been a problem...
