DuraFlex-whos got it?

Well I did the search and found nothing helpful. Anyone purchased a duraflex kit yet? If so who did you buy it through and is it better quality than previous fiberglass kits? From the research I've done it seems to have similar properties to urethane without the sagging problems. Please no posts on how urethane is the best and how it never sags blah blah blah, ive had bad experiences with it already. Whos kit fit the best with least modifications, i know some sanding is required, but vis sold me a kit that wont fit no matter what.

no personal experience, but from what i hear, its basically the same thing as fiberglass, just a catchy sales gimick to sell it

^^ i beleive duraflex is the f/g material with urethane properties as well.. i saw a vid somewhere where they took a bc2 side skirt and twisted it.. was rigid like f/g but flexable as well like urethane. i just know what it was called.. ithink it was duraflex but im not sure..

My rear bumper is duraflex. It came with a huge crack in it if that tells you anything. I ordered it from extremedimensions.com. It didn't feel like I could twist it without breaking it, especially since it was already cracked. So basically my experience is what Joey said.

wow, i too saw the vid from vision auto with the bc2 front. What im trying to do is get a quality kit, i have had friends with urethane kits from vis and they started to sag even after we rienforced them. I currently have a vis kit that the front fits but theres no way in hell the sides and rear will ever fit. I even had an auto body shop laugh when i showed them the problems i was having. the sides of the rear bumper wouldnt fit they looked like an air brake for a fighter jet. i dont mind paying 6-700 for a good kit, but im tired of buy parts that dont work.

Hey I got mine from Andysautosport.com which they sent form Aerogear.com. I have no idea if it's duraflex or not but it is way more flexible than regular fiberglass. It required little cutting, but other than that, it fit great. It has been through alot since it is my daily driver. So it has a small crack in the front bottom bumper. Nothing that can be sanded and fixed. It's a good quality. I know its not painted yet, but money is really tight right now. Look into it.

normal cars scare me...

Wow. I ordered a VIS kit from a local shop when he was in business and the thing fit PERFECT. Ive been pretty disappointed in most of the kits Ive intalled or helped to intall since. But back to subject the "duraflex" kit i looked at seemed to just be fiberglass. I didnt twist it or anything but as far as material, same look/feel.

STREET ANTIX, it's coming...

extreme dimensions' "duraflex" bumpers are just a bunch of B.S. I bought a kit from them recently and it's fiberglass. it's just coated black but it's still the same. it cant bend like they show it.

Ive sold a couple of the aerogear kits that have the ATF "aerogear flexible technology". They are fiberglass, but they do bend and twist like urethane. Im going to be putting the bc2 the rear and sides on my cav next week. When I test fitted them, fitment was real good. My rear bumper hade a couple of little cracks, but so did my kit from VIS. Ill try to get a vid of how flexable the bumper is.

i have the bc2 front made from duraflex it fits perfect but it is not any stronger then any other fiberglass kit i barley tapped a curb the day i got it on and it cracked horribly but on the plus side it was fairly easy to fix since it is fiberglass
