I work at a chevrolet dealership and had noticed something different about the 2.2 ECOtec starting in 2006. They had made a whole new valve cover. No im not mistaking it for the VVT 2.4 eco either. Im sry i dont have a pic of it. i cant find one anywhere so i will try to snap one from work. But its a darker aluminum, more boxy and it dont have the center plastic piece over the spark plugs. 4 spereate wires run from the plugs with nothing covering that section. If anyone has pics of it, plz post them...

maybe it's for the Eco gen 2 motor?
