i laugh... this really is something that really should be put in the FAQ section.

I posted basiclly the same thing about my 05 cavalier, where i asked if i had to change anything,... someone said just wiring... they were wrong... cuz on 03-05 cavys there is 13 holes that hold the dumb reflector on... for anyone that reads this section and has a 03-05, you have a few opitons... 1 get the RKsports bezel, 2 fill in the 7 holes that you dont need and paint trunk, or 3 get a 95-02 trunk and get it painted.

I agree.

I'll draft something and send it to Lenko.

Oh, well then... You'll prolly get an e-mail from me asking for permission to yank the instructions for the FAQ

Actually, it works pretty well. A couple more pics might help, but not really necessary

Sweet. this topic is finally going into FAQs.

when you make one up dont forget to say you DO have to modify 03-05s slightly to get them to fit!

^^ you dont have to modifiy to get them to fit.. u just have to have a alternate for the reflector across the trunk.. which are the 3 main ones u listed above.. so i wouldnt go telling people u have to modify to get em to fit.. cuz u dont.. just remove the reflector with the stock tails and put the toyos in.. then u can plug, weld shut, cf bezel, or get the 95-02 trunk.. either which require modifing anything to do with the taillights.. just fixing or replacing the reflector..

You have to rewire them due to the Toyo's having an independent turn signal instead of the single bulb that the Chev's have.

You can use the same sockets.

To simplify the instructions: run a power wire from the third brake light to the brake light socket on the Toyos, run the park light wire to the park light part of the toyo socket

Use the existing brake light socket wiring for the turn signal bulb.

Cut one wire in the column to keep the turn signal from lighting up when you hit the brakes.

You are looking at 30 minutes each side.
