for the rear bumper u wont need to do anything but take off the old bumper.. maybe trim the crusguard a bit, then put the new one on.. there might be a lil more work needed in installing up around the filler panels.. im not 100% sure on that tho. but the bumper WILL fit

the plastic mounting bracket is different you will need one ( the one on the sides by the rear tire)

I figured that I'd have to do some work with the brackets, I just wanted to know if it was gonna fit., Pics would be nice but dont go out of your way

that may help a lil....basically when u remove the tail fillers(under tails) 00-05 have the fillers built onto the rear bumper. and to secure those pieces theres a different plastic bracket that goues under the bumper sides to bolt to the QP, then comes up and clips into the fillers, where a bolt will then go thru the rear to hold the fillers

not sure if that makes sense....but if u look at your 02 bumper you bought...on top of the plastic fillers attached to the bumper...there will be 2 slits where the bracket clips into...ill be ripping mine off maybe tongiht...ill try and post pics for ya

You would need everything under the bumper cover that is not the same. You can get pics out of the service manuals.

you can just take the old filler plates off. drill a few small holes on the metal behind where the bracket sits and zip tie them tight to the car. I did that when I had my 00 bumper on. had it on like that for almost a year without a problem.
