Shaved handles.....with manual locks??

maybe a dumb question, but after thinking about it over and over, i cant come to a conclusion

does it matter wether you have manual or auto locks to do shaved handles and locks?
i assume its better to have the auto locks since youd basically not be able to lock your doors to use the poppers...or do the popper solenoids override the locks?

When u shave locks and handles you will have to get solenoids to pull the door handle bar so power locks don't amtter anymore after you do that then the popers will push the door open. So manual is bette rin my eyes since you wont have to leave solenoids fomr the auto locks in the doors or drill then out.

I also just took the rod out. I would not have disabled the locks, but one time my GF locked the door without me noticing it. so I was trying to figure out why my door wouldnt open, I checked the power wires to the alarm, the solenoids wires, I even tried just pulling the door as I pushed the switch on the remote. Then it hit me, the door is locked, duh.

so after that, i just decided to disable them to avoid locking my doors accidentally again.

Pull the rods for the locks, then zip tie the mechanism so it can't lock on it's own. Search for Kavky, he has a write up on his cardomain page for all of this.
