I have an 02 ecotec sunfire, Well since my accident I am going to need a new rear bumper. I had the idea of the two reverse lights in the very bottom of the bumper. Now with the 02 sunfire In the trunk We have two empty holes that are meant for bulbs I guess that's where the reverse lights for the 4 doors go. My question is that center piece is tinted I was wondering if Anyone has relocated their lights to these spots in the trunk and if so How does it look/go?
Those holes are for the reverse lights in 95-99 Sunfires. They'd look like...1995-99 Sunfire rears. I'm not really sure if the panel is tinted or if it's actual black plastic. You'll probably need a 95-99 trunk panel to use to holes. I've always wondered what it'd look like with all 4 reverse light spots being used on a 2000-02 Sunfire but that's me.

I hate having such the wide rear so Im trying to re-locate the reverse lights and get a different bumper.
You'll end up having to use the 95-99 panel and a 95-99 bumper more than likely. I know in 2000 they moved the reverse lights to the bumper and in 2003 they redid the rear again with a different panel, bumper, and lights.

Hey man. I was in the same boat as you. I got my body kit, and I had to relocate my reverse lights to those holes in the trunk. The black piece is plastic, and the light doesnt shine through, TRUST ME! Anyways, i went to the junkyard and i CAREFULLY pried the clear lenses off of a trunk lid, and i took as muck of the wire as I could! (Dont forget to take the bulbs too!) I then spliced my old reverse lights to the new ones. I also pianted them to make them less noticeable...here are some pics..
