DETAILING QUESTION???
Thursday, November 09, 2006 8:03 AM
Does anyone have any tips on how to get rid of the yellow look of a headlight without buying new ones.
I have tried polishing them but there has to be something you can do.

Thanks for any help!

I believe he's referring to the actual headlight housing and not the bulbs.

I would recommend keeping an eye out on eBay for new headlights. I have seen brand new ones for very good prices.

But if you're not VERY experienced with wetsanding, I wouldn't go that route. Try a claybar. If that doesn't work... just get a new set.
