got my new hood for my fire from class glass....had if for a month or so now....and i think class glass is using GRILLRD'S car pic and i think WHITEBOY.ca is using it too.

I've had to block off the opening though because of moisture concerns but w/e. I think it looks pretty awesome and it weighs less than half the stock hood.

Check out my new sig!!

@!#$ MMMMMMMMM man! that looks sick as hell on your black GT! if i ever get a hood for the drop top im going with class glass (unless i find a used one cheap). CGP is a super company to deal with and their products fit great. good job with your hood man

ThanX man!

I had it installed professionally....but if you decide to go with class glass you should know that the hood didn't really fit 'perfectly'.....the guy who did it had to sand down the passenger side where the bolts go into the hood because that side sat up like 1/4 inch above the quarter panel....it's much better now but still a little higher...also the front on the driver side is a little higher because the hood could be a little warped.....um also when it was installed the passenger side hood hinge holes were ovaled out so the hood could slide more to the passenger side to make the gaps even....the gaps are still a little wider than stock and could've been better. But I should add that the guy who did the hood, paint, and pins said that the hood was of the best quality that he'd seen.

At any rate though I'm happy with the hood and plan on sending some pics to class glass (maybe with some constructive criticism).....maybe if I'm nice they'll put my pics up on their site too!

Anyway check out these before and after pics of the hood as received and after slight modification and paint.

its possible the hood sitting high could be from your car though. only reason i say this is because i have personally owned 3 class glass hoods and 2 trunk lids and have personally installed at least another 8-10 on various peoples cars (i used to sell CGP products and usually got the prototypes to test fit, etc) and sold countless others with the only real complaints coming from shipping damage (which they were quick to fix)

of course i never did install THIS hood, so its possible its different than the rest. but regardless, it looks sick!
