whats your thoughts on shaved trunk lids ( lights and keyhole) on a cav sedan? black trunk lid on yellow car. my car also has a black primered ram hood. my car is yellow. would the trunk look good at all? too much black?
i do. jsut having trouble visualizing it.
anyone have shaved trunk pics (both lock and light)? only been able to find a handful
i just have a shaved lock , i dont like the lights being shaved though it dont look right

i like shaved lids personally. here are my two cents:
last summer. shaved lids look better with shaved tails IMO
but also look good with stock outters. this pic is from 02 or 03? long time ago either way
and IMHO if youre going to pay all the money to shaved a lid, dont leave the keyhole. and vice versa, if youre going to pay to shave something, why stop with just the keyhole?

nope.. personally.. if they need a little light on my wing for them to know im stopping they shouldnt be driving.. i have 2 taillights, not to mention once teh car starts slowing down theyll start getting closer to my car.. meaning they should also be slowing down.. If someone is gonna bitch about me not having a 3rd break light then they got some problems.. ive seen alot of cars around here locally with theirs out(esp on small trucks) So i dont really think i need to put one on.. might be gettin one out of a grand am tho that mounts to the top of the window.. but i dunno if its worth my hassle and time..
some states require it and others dont.

check giovannas (sp?) right next to oasis gentlemens club on essington ave and a tad bit farther down on essington ave is jacks auto glass. thats where i pulled parts for my cav.
theres some in the u-pull yard near me , the 3rd im useing is out of a chrysler sebring conv. , 1 cuz its a LED light and 2 cuz its thin and compact
