type j rear fitment issue

hi thee i just installed my type j rear, it fits for thr most part pretty good except were the trunk is the bumper has some weave to it. i was woundering how i should fix it. sorrry i dont have any pics to show u.

just about all Jbody rear bumpers have the wave along the trunks bottom edge, take some L brackets and mount them to the bumper frame form the inside to hold it up, or angle iron , or a couple very smalls screws

when i installed my buddy ben's type j i just cut the stock crushguard.. but when we removed it we had to widen holes for new pins to put in(what ull see ben doing in the pic is drillin out the holes)


and we got absolute no wave in the rear at all

what about some two sided tape to hold it flat against the bumper support?

Good luck tried that and within a day it poped back up. I resorted to trimming the crush guard down more.
