ok i have a problem i have 04 chevy cavi sedan, and yesterday i bought myself a pair of wiper blades, both 22 inches
anywayz i think the stock wipe blade in front of the steering wheel is the same size 22 inches , correct me if im wrong but the other one in front of the passanger side is a lot smaller now the funny thing is i remove my stock wiper blades right then i try to put my new blade on passanger side wiper arm and it fitted perfectly but when i try with the other one the driver side wiper arm it doesnt fit im using the same adaptors for both wiper arms and wiper arms look exactly the same
why is that? help me please right now i have my my wiper blade in fornt of the driver seat attached tight with a cord lol so i dont look like an idiot driving with just one blade
am i supposed to use a bigger one for the driver side , does using a bigger one changes the size of the adaptor cause that is the problem the adaptor doesn fit to wiper arm it sucks
by the way wiper blades are pilot automotive
on the 2 door, its 22" driver and 17" passenger, dunno about the 4 Door, but i would assume they're probably the same. Something isnt right if the Driverside doesnt fit, it should just clip onto the Wiper Arm, through the hook, theres not much more to it than that.
yep i dont know whats going on here maybe is the hook i noticed is kinda bent thats why it doesnt fit but i have tried so hard o straighten that thing i just cant
i dont know how to fix it
is there a way to get a new wiper arm and how to install it cause i just cant get it to fit
Sedans are the same, 22" driver, 17" passenger. As for getting the wiper on, try harder. It can be a very weathered part.

The shepard's hook style wiper blades have a small clip that hold it in place to keep it from sliding out... extra effort is needed to remove the blade frame from the arm
Its supposed to have a curve in it and not be parallel with the arm (at the end where the blade attaches to the arm) so that it catches on that clip.
Little things I picked up reading through both the owner's manual and a repair manual....
