I have been looking to add HID headlights to my 2001 Sunfire SE.
I have been looking at some Ebay stores with them for sale for about $150 shipped.
Has anyone had experience with these vendors and how did the install/quality go?
Also, is there any other websites or stores that you would recommend.
You get what you pay for. Some are good and some tend to fail rather quickly. Which kits were you looking at.

Do you have projector headlights?
If not, please dont be like many of the idiots out there that put them in their stock headlights and blind everyone on the road. HID's are meant for projector lenses

Where is a good place to buy these parts? I am running out of options for things such as projectors and other parts for my sunfire. Any websites you would reccomend?

i bought my hid kit on ebay, 150 shipped. I love it. And it doesnt blind everyone coming at you. When you install it you will finally see how out of aim you lights really are.......

Cheap kits are crap...I have one that was under $200us and it sucks, had grounding out problems, lights flickering off and one..one light is currrently dead and even when they were working fine, when I first turned them on, they would cut out so I had to always turn them on then off then on again quickly to keep them on...the $275US-$315US kits seem to be better quality and will not cause problems, try and get one with built in relays and quality metal ballasts not plastic.

Not true, at least for the 03+ sunfire housing designs....when I installed the HID's I aimed the beams down fearing I would blind people...I couldn't see anything the light was pointed 2 feet from the front of the bumper...I raised them back up to stock height and the light pattern was identical to stock, just much brighter, white light... it's not blinding at all, I've not been highbeamed by anyone
even once... I've driven behind freinds and they were not annoyed or bothered by the HID's at all.
