Could side skirts be a good look without a new front or rear?

I was pondering if someone bought some side skirts that weren't really low, could it look good with a stock front-end and rear-end? Or would it look unporportioned?

i guess it depends on which stock bumpers, adn which skirts u mean. like Ken and a few others have the big mouth skirts with the stock LS front and rear, and it flows very nicely!

hmmm... take a look at a stock 00-01 z24... they came from the factory with the 95-02 z24 side skirts... but the front and rear bumpers didnt have any lips to compensate for the side skirts...IMO it looks retarded, totally out of place..

NOW... seeing as how your car is 03+.. if you went with a set of 03-05 ls sport side skirts and no lips on the front or rear bumpers... it would def. look better than the z24 skirts... because they are smaller. but IMO would still look out of place.

the best combo that was never put on a cavalier would be 02 z24/ls sport front and rear bumpers w/ lips and 03-05 ls sport side skirts... it would have been perfect and matched MUCH better than with the 95-02 z sides.

i will soon have this setup, but minus the front bumper, im sticking with the stock 95-99 z24 front, then maybe adding the technic lip-we'll see.

I'm just looking for ideas for a new exterior for summer time. Here in TN, the roads are horribly bumpy and hilly. If I went with a kit, my car would have a broken front-end in no time.

I have not seen this done before, but my goal is to get the 03-05 LS Sport body kit and paint the lips black.

If I were you I would just put the LS sides on and I can't tell by your sig but, I would remove the pin stripeing

What about the factory skirts on about a y2k sunfire? I think those look pretty good on Ecotec Cavys with base bumpers...especially when the car is dropped about three inches
