So i've been running high wattage "HID look" bulbs with heavy duty SPW wiring harnesses in hopes of no more melted sockets(doesnt work) Yesterday i had to replace one of the harnesses again so I decided to give up for the time being on custom headlights and went back to stock bulbs. Every thing seemed fine with the headlights now but now if i turn on the headlights and fogs, turm on high beams, and then go back to lows, the fogs wont come back on. You have to turn the swich all the way off and then back on to get the fogs to come on again. I checked all the wiring and connections and its all like it should be and when the old harness melted it didnt melt anything but where the bulb and socket meet. It didnt do this when the headlight was F***ed up so im at a loss as to what it is.
Any ideas??
If you drive around with your high beams on alot this will happen. Just dont drive for long periods of time with the High beams on.
you mean the melted headlights or the fogs not working right. I need to know how to make the fogs work properly again
I am talking about the melted headlight plugs.
Good to know.
Anyone haveany idea what is causing the fogs not to work right?
BTW-the car is an 03 cavy LS sport coupe if that matters
