Alright i was going to put this in O/T but.. i figure the correct place for it to be seen with best results would be here in Exterior. so this be where it ends up.
Ok what i am looking for is someone here, who is in the profession of Auto Body/Collision Repair and works at a actual body shop or dealership.. not just someone doing this in their garages on the weekends(i do that minus the garage
) Anyway i am writing a report for one of my classes and just need someone who is available within the next week or 2 that i can email some questions to and have them answer me back truthfully within a day or 2 i send the email. This will be part of my report/essay that i need done, i already have a couple local shops here but i figured something good would be to find someone not local to see how answers vary. All this will be is somewhat of a interview of questions. If anyone who can do this and is interested more in what all it is involved ill be glad to fill you in. Thanks guys
btw it doesnt just have to be one, i was sorta limited to 2-3 but i can use more no problem.

TGM, do u actually work in a auto body shop? like gettin paid/its ur job? if not some of the questions u wont be able to answer thats why i said i was lookin for someone working on a body shop or dealership. guess i was kinda general of what i was asking for but it needs to be someone who is actually hired in the field.

I DID work in a shop for 5 years... I can't do autobody/paint as a profession anymore since my knee is so messed up... but I've been there/done that. I've worked for a small "hole in the wall" body shop... owned by one person where I was the only other employee (yes it was an ACTUAL body shop), and a large dealership shop also, along with a custom auto body shop (which I quit because I seen them cutting corners). I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you have regarding when I was still working in a shop.
