ORLANDO - I thought the same thing and took them back. I ended up with BLUE XENON on EBAY

what do you think of the nokya artic white 9007 and i think is 7000k stage 2
is that legal? read somehwere thagt si not legal
i also read that soembody had problems with this lights and his harness
My Silverstars are bright white and put my stock bulbs to shame. I had a set of those "xenon" bulbs off of Ebay. They look nice, until you get to dar streets with no lights, or its night when its raining. Also, be careful with those bulbs. Lots of stories of them getting too hot and shattering, the bulbs melting the harness due to too high of voltage, etc.
Be careful with the Nokya I started to melt my plug and harness because the bulbs draw to much current.

Dont use nokyas in a jbody- it will melt your harnesses due to the higher wattage! I tried the silverstars too and was very unimpressed and took them back.
I have had my XENON bulbs a year so far. FINGERS crossed

Exactly what happened to me.......
ive had the same silverstar bulbs for 3+ years now and i still love them. mine have like a slight blueish tint but they are bright and work awesome
Ive never had trouble with the Nokya bulbs or any other high wattage bulbs. *knocks on wood*

me tooo!
i have them also and very impressed, the headlights arent overall brighter then stock, but there is a big difference. they are white. look very sharp in the headlights, ive gotten some good comments on em. now as i was saying there not really a huge difference from stock but, white is a clearer crisper light, things are alot clearer, and i can see down the road all teh signs im reflecting cuz there white and dont remain their actual color. Once i adjusted them to my manual specs, i actually raised them bout inch higher, there not aimed as brights, but their aimed a lil higher then there sad to be, dont have problems with people flashing me and almost evening morning im driving down a 2 lane highway and get no problems.
I like em so much, i just ordered me and jeff foglight ones, and our buddy ben, a set of headlight and fogs for his car too yesterday.

I have the PIAA Xtreme Whites 4100K. Very white and very white. I don't notice any yellow "tint" mass improvement over stockers. Stocks are around 3000-3200K which is closer to yelllow. I believe the "Brightest" halogen you can purchase is between 4150K and 4200K. Although I think 4150s and 4200s are illegal to be used as lows since they are so bright, but you can always adjust your headlight levels but isn't really recommended to mess with too much. Those are the only halogens available on the market to make the brightest light possible without Xenons, Plasmas, Ions or HIDs. But if you are looking for the HID look convert to HID or go with 5000K or 6000K halogens which will give you that Blueish light but will not be bright at all. The higher the K color on a Halogen the lower the light output because companies basically tint the bulb to get the color you want.
ive been using silverstars for a while now, no complaints. they arnt ricer blue and actually help at night.
mabye install ur own headlight bulbs next time.

I had Silvania Silverstar and I wasnt all that impressed with em. I agree, I could see the yellow in them a bit but they do beat the stock bulbs. I've decided to get PIAA's and I Love em. Im keeping the silverstar ones as a back-up in case the PIAA takes a crap on me during the drive.

Agreed.
I had ricer blue bulbs, looked great, but in terms of function, they sucked. I gave them away after tossing Silverstars in. Wasn't worth me hitting a deer on the way to work at 4am to have HID wannabe bulbs.
i have white xenons and they are amazing. Get those, also they are easy to install, you should try doing it yourself. It sounds like pep boys its jacking you off

I had the "ricer blue" bulbs in at first. Then I swapped over to a different bulb cause the light output sucked at night and when it was raining. The ones I swtiched to were still a Xenon bulb, but they were greenish. From the outside, the bulb look really cool cause it put out this minty green look, but again, the same issue at night. Had problems seeing at night and if it rained at night, I had to drive with brights on just to see. I was under my hood aa bit after I shut off the car and I smelled a burning smell. I was like

?? So I took my headlight apart and found that my driver side bulb was starting to melt the harness. Needless to say, I threw the bulbs away and thats when i read about Silverstars. I bought a set of those and I haven't looked back to stock since. Nice bright white, great at night, fitted perfect, no smells. I don't get where some of you guys are saying they have a "yellowish" tint to them? I'll post a pic of mine later on tonight. My lights are bright white with no yellow whatsoever.

You talkin about the radiator shroud? You take that out by removing the plastic rivets. Read your owner's manual on head light bulb replacement.
