somewhat custom tail lights

not really customed, just stock fabricated. it's a quick photoshop of what it should look like in the end. (it will all be lens, not the red paint like it is in the photo lol) and before you all give me a hard time about this being in the wrong forum, i tried to post it in image manipulation but for some reason i can't create a new post there. i've already started on it but my dremel tool crapped out on me. hoping to finish it this weekend. opinions?? i might not put the bowtie on, haven't decided yet. if i don't put it on i may cut the lens along the bottom of it

You'll end up having to weld and repaint your trunk.

looks pretty good, but i think you should round off the corners at the top a little. just so it has a more finshed look.

i know i'll have to drill a few holes in the trunk, but i don't see why i would have to weld and repaint it. are all 3rd gens not the same?

finished pics all in due time. unfortunately i can't work on it tonite because i'm stuck here at work, just taking a quick break.

i thought about it the other day and i think you're right superfasssstz, it would look better rounding the edges.

the only thing that won't look right would be the red strip of plastic that runs along the top and bottom edges. there won't be any around the edges i cut. i figure something out. well, back to work

well, got it all cut, just need to smooth out the edges and drill the holes to mount it. thought about painting it black. a translucent black if i can find something like that. i don't care if it looks like a sunfire bezel or not, hell i got a sunfire wing and rear bumper why not a trunk bezel lol

as of now

if i go black
