When you remove the side moldings of the car is there any residue or damage that i should be concious of? Like for example sand scraches and such?
As far as i know there should be holes to where the clips held the top of the molding into the door.
do then would i have to bondo them and do some major body work on it or what? im new to body mods so im not really sure what to do.
what side molding are you talking about? like the ones that same on the 03-05 sunfires? there will be wholes. if your just talking about the side molding on any j body there is no wholes. just 3M tape.
He has a '98 'Fire sedan so he shouldn't have any holes. You might have some discoloration due to it being black but I doubt it. Just be sure to wax it when you're done and I'm sure it'll look fine.
