I'd like to either shave my whole trunk lid, inner lights and lock, or just order a fully shaved fiberglass trunk lid from aplusperformance, my question is, any fellow j-body owners here from Michigan? is it legal to shave your whole trunk lid and have no reverse lights? anyone ever have any problems with that? let me know because its a mod that I'd like to do and it would look clean. thanks!
well to start off if your worried about michigan laws, it might of been better to post this in the regional forum. aside from that ive had a fully shaved lid for 3 years before i took it off. i never had a problem with cops at all. during inspection, i swapped it out for another lid and then reinstalled the shaved one. im pretty sure though in every state you need reverse lights.

I don't think I'm gonna do it now, don't want to risk it if I'm just gonna get pulled over by the po po's, plus I can't meet halfway, hard to get days off when you work 42 hours a week
