I am thinking about going no spoiler on my 03 sunfire but want to buy a trunklid off of an earlier 2 door model w/ no spoiler so I don't have to screw up my stock lid, and could always switch back to having a spoiler if I wanted to. I know the tails are different from 03+ but isn't the lid top the same on all years? I would just have to switch over the new parts to the old lid right? Just wanted to make sure before I waste my time looking for an old trunk lid...

Exactly... The only changes to the rear between 2002 and 2003 were the trunk bezel (changed from the black plastic one to the body colored one, but it can be switched), tail lights (however the mounting studs are the same), and bumper cover (but that interchanges as well)
