as this time of year rolls about, i've decided its time i got rid of my factory textured bumpers. i've got the front figured out, and i have a plain white rear waiting to go on. but, i've decided something that hides the underside better. only problem with that is my exhaust is rather wide, i'll need somewhere in the area of an 8" cutout on the drivers side to accommodate this:
i know it doesn't look straight in that pic, but at the time it wasnt. it is now.
i'd really prefer a rear lip as opposed to a full bumper, to keep costs down. is there such a lip with a cutout large enough? or is there even any bumper with one large enough?

yeah, i know they're big, but its essentially a pair of glass packs on a mandrel y pipe... the diameter of the actual flow on them is really only like about 1 3/4" each side. they're extremely quiet at cruise and they bark when pushed... i like them, no one else has to, im not trying to be an jerk about this, but its just how i feel.
anyway, im guessing it may just be easier to make my own cutout?

you could always get an 03+ LS Sport rear bumper and just make the cutout more of an oval shape for them to fit. i have the factory exhaust/tip, but I know you can fit up to a 4" tip in the stock cutout. i will try to photshop it in a little bit.

thats exactly what i was thinking of, but i never liked how the tail light filler pieces were part of the bumper, it always took away from the lines of the rear i thought. but yes, the lower part with cutout is exactly what i was thinking of.

the '03+ LS Sport lip is the whole bumper and all of them have that cutout on the drivers side
thats a shame. the cutout is perfect, but i dont like how the top of the bumper curves up to the tail lights. looks like the rksport lip is how im going. thanks for the chop.

ok... now i've got all my parts lined up and ready to order, except the rk rear lip. i cant find anywhere thats selling JUST the rear lip, which is all i want, i don't want the sides or front lip. anybody know where i can get one?
