Ok I was thinking of modding out the trunk to flip up and so I searched and found the thread with a link to some guys instructions on car doman. My question is has anyone tried out his instructions? If so is there any major troubles with doing so?

I did a flip trunk with the instructions that my buddy got off ebay and it worked fine, time consuming and hard without a friend, if you decide to do it be sure to use the piece of angle iron between the trunk arms or it with be very wobbly when open

i tried with the diy instruction that had to use door hinges and needs alot o measure like doit 5x to make sure its straight when it shuts and the suport between them helps stability. looks great and is a real head turner but a pain in the butt.
