Polishing HO Intake Mani

I did a quick search but didnt see anything related to this

I was wondering if it is possible to do a good job polishing your Intake Manifold on your own? Im very limited for shops that will do this in my hometown

Any guide and tools needed would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

ive always just started out around 150 grit, sand it smooth then move to like a 220 or 300 then a 400 then a 600 then a 800 then 1000 then 1500 then 2000 then take a polishging wheel and then finish with a aluminum polish.

Im going to tackle it tonight

Did you guys just use a grinder to get rid of all the bumps?

just depends on how big the bump is. a grinder, a dremel whatever will nock it down.
