i just got done installing the HID conversion kit i ordered up a week ago and i absolutly love them. it was so easy and only had to splice into 4 wires and mount the HID control boxes and plug everything in and away i went. and there about 3 times brighter then the HID headlights i had in the car. would suggest it to anyone who want some brighter headlights with a sweet look. o yea the car the were installed on is a 2004 cavy.

What HID kit did you use?
"The Oprah Show described with graphic detail a
sexual term known as "tossing salad." It was
so offensive that my child's head literally exploded.
Please ban free speech so this never happens again"
i went the cheap route and ordered a kit off of ebay. cause i didnt want to spend a lot of money on an expensive kit if i didnt like them. i know some people have a bad experiences on ebay but all the stuff ive bought ive never had a bad experience yet.

Is it just a HID kit, or did you go the right way and get projectors with them to make them legal and not blind everyone?
Pics?
i just put the HID kit in, i cant find a projector kit for the car.
do they even make one for the 03-05 cavaliers?

just because he has HIDs does not mean he will blind people or kill someone if he adjusts the housing properly.
Bellon HID Conversion Kit any good?
HIDs without a proper projector setup are a nuiscence. The stock Cavalier housings are not designed for that kind of light output. Even if you aim the lights down you are scattering light everywhere.
I'm curious... Why do people do this? Do you people that do it like it when people pass you/drive behind you with their bright lights on? It's like that.. only brighter. It degrades other drivers ability to see at night. I have been passed by people with HID conversions in stock dish housings, and it is horrible. If you can't afford to do it right, don't do it. Please - on behalf of everybody on the road.
Silvania Silverstars are still CONSIDERABLY cheaper than HID kits, and a lot less annoying to everybody else on the road, plus they're legal. If you must have brighter lights, try going that route if you cannot or will not afford to do a proper HID setup.
On my cobalt we aimed the headlight housings down and actually had my friend drive my car one way while we drove another, we both turned around at the first available oppurtunity and he drove at us with the HIDs on. We were not blinded, or are eyes uncomfortable at all, and we also had him follow us, and come out of a side road. Neither time were we at all distracted even when actually looking to be distracted. Saying all stock housings with HIDs are a neuscense or not done the right way, is like saying all Harleys are too loud.
