The search only left me with a couple of posts, none of which really answered my questions. I am mostly doing this for looks when I have the fog lights on (but I don't want to actually paint the fogs yellow). So I was just wanting to get some opinions on yellow bulbs
-Anybody tried
these bulbs?
-The bulb number is 880 right?
-Anyone know if they are street legal in Indiana?
-Got any pics of yellow fogs (or similar yellow headlight bulbs)
I don't want yellow fogs, I just want the bulbs to produce yellow light
I also found
these made by Luminics. These are 27 watts, which is the wattage the stock bulbs have. Can anyone suggest which ones I should go with and inform me on the legal stuff about them?
I've got some Nokya 893 Hyper Yellow blubs that I bought on ebay.
There 893's run a little higher wattage than stock but I haven't had a problem in the 1 1/2 years that i've had them in.
I also had the luminics once but they weren't as yellow as the nokyas.

As far as I know in most states (very general statement), yellow fog light bulbs are allowed. There may be some cases where they are not. I know I've sold quite a few 880 yellow bulbs, and typically 880 is only for fog lights.
Atk - if you do choose to go the Luminics route, let me know... I'll get you a good deal on a set and I have them in stock.

ACav2Envy - so those in the pics are the nokya's right?
Anyone have any pics at all of the Luminics? I would love to get those just to order from you APlus, but the nokya bulbs are lookin pretty good to me right now (until I can compare them to the other two mentioned in this thread).
I have the luminics JDM Yellow fogs. Great. Haven't run into any problems with melting housing or the law.
Atk - At the link you posted above (luminicsusa), they have a few pictures of the yellow bulbs. I checked, but I don't have any installed pics to send.

Depending on your timeframe Atlk, I have spring break in in another week. If you want I can snap some pics of my JDM yellow luminics, day/night. I know they still sell those and the new ION yellows which I am betting are the same.
I just ordered the Nokya 880 Hyper Yellow 27W bulbs off of ebay (can't beat $20 total)...
