I purchased the MMS kit for my cavy almost 1 year ago. The passenger side shock will not support the door any longer, and the driver's side is starting to let go. Did anyone else have this problem? And if so, how did you contact Joe to order new shocks through warranty. He is very difficult to get ahold of, and my warranty is almost expired.
i have heard of it happening but i cant help ya on contacting joe. ive never had to before
Is it cold where you live? I know my shocks didn't work well in the cold weather but now that it's warm they're working fine. Try looking for his profile and see if you can get ahold of him through there.

i had the same problem with my passenger. it barely held the door up and then it just busted and didnt even go up period. but as for getting a hold of joe. just email him. i emailed hiim 2 times and he got back to me the same day if not the next. just look up his name on here and his email is in there.
I NEED a 97-99 LD9 engine harness for an auto.PM if u hav info.!!
it doesnt matter what kit you have...shocks will go, some will last forever, some only a little while.
also the cold weather does affect the shocks too.

yup. I have the VDI kit. After 2 or 3 months both shocks started to die on me...the passenger side first, then the drivers side.
I have shocks from Joe that have both lasted 2 years now. So it's a hit and miss really.
