I just put an OEM VIS hood on my 05 cav... it is lined up fine on the sides but there is a bow in the middle of it... just a little so you can see into my engine bay at the right angle.

You can see into my engine bay at the right angle with my oem hood, i have a 98 fire......
I have a vis cf hood and it fits awesome, did you contact who ever you bought it from to see about getting a new hood if there is a defect in your hood?
wish i could be of more help..
98 j-body sedan
did you tighten up those bump stops rubber things?
mine bows up in the center as well...... I used some washers as spacers between the hinges and the hood.... and then lowered the latch and bump stops........ lines up great to the winshield end of the fenders, and down by the bumper/headlights/fender..... just bows in the center...... Hope it comes down some come summer (thinking some heat, and maybe weight will help).

I have an 05 also with the ViS invader and mine bows in the same spot but I think it's because of my strut bar.....
it was up to 55* or so today, and my hood fits ALOT better!!!! I actually have to lower the rear, and lift the front now
BUT the center doesnt bow as high as it was.
