Front End Conversion

hey guys. I got a question for you fellas here at the org.

What would it take to convert my 96 Cavalier Z24 front end to the 00-02 Z24 Cavalier front end.

All i know of is the usual.

Head Lights,
Fenders,
Hood,
Corner Markers,
Maybe the front bumper.

But in order to do this, would i have to change the core support? or drill holes for new mounting?

If there is anybody thats dont this what are the steps u had to take?

all you need is
Bumper
Headlights
Corner lights
Cut off brackets from old fenders
Do some rewiring for the Diff bulb style on the headlights

Do all that and your golden. Hood and fenders is the same. core support is the same. and everything bolts right on.

I just went to the 03 front end and had to do it all but I didn't have to change my fenders the corner light bracket wasn't in the way but for a 00 swap you need fenders for the specific year corner .... other than that you should be good, I had to change hood striker and raise the release but other than that it was a piece of cake but the wiring can be tricky goin from 96 lights to the 9007 of the 2000

yeah thats the only part im worried about is the wiring for the new headlights. im actually going to try to find some JDM fenders for a 2000 to match the new corner. Do they make the new corners in clear projector? Also, when converting to the new headlights, what wires do u use and what wires do u dispose of?Or do u use all of them?

And im thinking about going with an OEM carbon fiber hood. but i dont know what body kit to go with, having a hard time desciding between the Drift and the Bomex Style. Im having an even harder time finding the type of rims i like.

if your doing the 03 the bomex is cleaner and an easy install, the drift is a little tougher but if your going with the 2k front you have a lot more options and just look around personally I would get the R34 skyline front VIS is the maker but its under a different name on the site, and I'm still having some issues with my lights so don't ask me about the wiring. And as for clear projector corners?? I've never even seen anyone make a corner with a projector
