Me and some friends came up with a small but long project for my cavi and that was to make a vertical door hinge for the gas door. We figured since my main doors are verticle, why not go a step further and do the gas door. Planning the hinge out has been a task but we are basing it off a regular vertical door hinge without the shock since its not heavy..Once the project goes underway, i will post pics as soon as..Any one else thought of an idea like this?..LOL. Its just something i thought would be a lil "attention to detail" type of thing ...

I see no point in no doing that.. alot simpler to just shave ur gas door and relocate gas cap somewhere else, and it looks much better that having a lambo gas door

simpler to shave the gas door and relocate it? yeah, if you don't mind paying to have it welded, all the body work done and painting nearly 1/4th of the car... sure, sounds simple and cheap.

I was going to mess around with mine today, just to see if there is anyway of doing it suicide with just basic hand tools. But girl friend had to go to ER, so I'll mess around with it some other time.
