I was wondering if anyone has the RK sport fiberglass Ram Air hood for the 03-05 Sunfire? My hood was damaged by ice this winter, left a nice line and indents/bumps along the top half of the hood, so I either need to have it fixed or get another hood (local shop estimated the repair at $500+). I like the look of the RK Sport Ram Air hood, but I've never had experience with fiberglass and was wondering how it looks when it's painted? Will it be as smooth as the OEM hood? And how is the fitment (gaps, etc)?

I have a 1999 Sunfire with the RKSport RamAir hood, cant speak for the 03-05, but I have had no fitment issues and the surface if prepped properly, will just be like OEM finish, mine was. hope this helps.
