Can anybody identify these "exotic" hinges? Any good ? Installation difficulty ? Any help would be appreciated.
two shocks? hmm, i dont know if too many companies use two short shocks. i know companies such as gtfactory use two long shocks with their hinges though. perhaps the Jbody application uses two short shocks?

looks like the MMS kit i have. mine work fine.
Could be VDI or the cheaper (MMS, Chin Wah, etc) kit... Although the two shocks being connected like that makes it hard to tell.
How many shocks do you have in total for the kit?

There are two sets of the double shocks which are joined , so I would assume each door gets the double shock set up.
