Hey guys Ive got 01 cavalier Just planning on getting my front bumper replaced soon, My first time removing one off a cavalier, Just needing some advice from those who done it, Ive got good knowledge of doing the job & as well tools, Just need some info on the removal?.

well first there are bolts in both wheel wells along the cover and then continue under the bumper edge this holds the splash gaurds on(bout 7 each side) , then u can ether go thru the wells or pull the two bolts on each headlamp and pull them out cause there are two bolts holding the cover to the fenders,shopuld be some bolts or clips where the grill is yet there is not really a grill just some bumps lol. under the bumper going to the radiator core support are two to three bolts/clips. then the cover will pull right off if stuck remove the two bolts on top of the cover that hold black brackets on this holds the crash core to the crash bar and when off the car be a little easier to pull the two a part. and ? let me know.
Well I believe that sums everything up, oh of course I am asumming I got to unplug the airbag sensor, or fuse as well?. All need to do is replace the front nose bumer plastic clip, Ice build up on my wheels broke a chunk out of my side part of my bumper, Since the weather is getting nice, I will have time to replace it.

I didn't on my 98 and had to take off the crash guard to get the Drift front on

nope the air bag impact sensor is on the rad support, behind the re-bar. if you have fog lamps you will need to unplug them.

yeah the sensors stay plugged in they are not near there just fog/ headlamps/corners. just looked today when i did my oil there are four clip/bolts in the wanna be grill and didnt see any under the front lower grill.
