i have the drift kit mostly done on my 03 cav and i was thinking of making the vents in the skirts full functional, i would cut a hole in the lower quarter panel and bring it out into the rear wheel well, do you all think it would be sweet or just a waste of time. these vents would help cool the rear brakes once i get the rear disc conv.
many changes in the making
my favorite part about doing bodywork,.......... bondo bugers
honestly, i think you'd be wasting more time and materials than it would be worth. cooling of the rear brakes wouldnt really help unless you run alot of autocross etc, and even still the benefits would be minimal
just my opinion, but i think youd be making a bigger headache than its worth.
sounds cool but a bigger headache then its worth.example if u do it and dont do it right that is a big opening in ur quater which is now a hole inside ur car and driving get water/snow/ice/dirt in there and cant get out it will sit inside ur quater and rot ur quater and rocker out causeing u to have to replace them and thats if u catch it they will not be seen behind the kit so there lies a bigger head ache them u bargined for just my 2 cents.
