I replaced my stock crap driving lights with some aftermarket ones and put 100 watt hella bulbs in them. Now I got this problem, every time I turn them on the fog light fuse blows. Are my lights to powerful or what?

yeah ur pulling to much draw on the system so the fuse pops keep it up my friend put apc 5 inch fogs on and they drew soo much that there in line fuse never poped and the wires got smoking in like 45-60 seconds we had to cut them before the caught fire. go with a smaller draw of put better bulbs in your stocker they are driving/ fog lamps why the need for insane bright lamps up grade ur headlamps instead or both with better bulbs. the fuse is poping to tell u dont do it they are to strong. just input from experiance.
i replaced them cause my stock ones got water and blew up so i figured id save the money and buy new ones

You should not use the stock wiring, wire then up with a seperate fused wiring harness, and then hook them up to ignition, the harness will have a seperate switch to tunr them off
Don't buy from MANTAPART!!
let's see
old bulbs 27to 35 watt 2.25 to 3 amps each
new bulbs 100 watt 8 amps each
the circut now has to handle 3 times the load!!!!
You need to wire in a relay and control it off the stock fog lite wiring

If your friend doesn't know what hes doing he should be working on his car. All he had to do was use a relay and there would have never been a fire.....but yes the bulbs are to strong....and yes you do need a relay ^^
