Amber turn signals

So I found this site thanks to a bit of searching, since I couldn't find it ANYWHERE near me. My question is, they don't show amber in their inventory. Do I have to mix yellow and red???

I used Orange Dupli-Color Metalcast to paint my corners orange/amber

So did you just spray a light layer, or did you spray it like you were painting an interior piece?

Not to thread jack but would it be a good or bad idea to spray transparent amber inside black corners, on the lens and on the black paint? Would the black paint act like a base coat to match black headlights?

If you go to auto zone, duplicolor makes something called metalcast. Its a anodized look paint for shiny metals. Its basically a transparent coloring.. but i think it has some metallic in it maybe as well but not sure. ive heard of a few using that. They also make a adhesion promoter(cant find it on there site exactly, but if u go into the store, ull find the metalcast it should have the metalcast adhesion promoter next to it) that is clear. Being ur not going to primer or paint the corners u might have adhesion problems, so i would look into getting the clear adhesion promoter.

I just painted the corners like I would anything else. Just make sure you clean the lens real good with some soap & water, dry throughly & get the Adhesion Promoter, it's a clear primer, then start putting layers on.

Could you get away without using Adhesion Promotor or is it a must? Is that also available at AutisticZone?

i got an idea maybe...
whut if we take the corner lense off and spray the inside with the orange paint???

...wont that make it so we wont have to re-spray every year.
like if it wears off? [especially us with snow/salt in the winter]
