This is about the mirrors and the tails.
When ordering from the dealership do the mirrors and tails come with the wiring harness or do i have to order those seperatly?
Also if they dont come with the harnesses can i get part numbers for the taillights? ( i have the mirrors numbers already)
Do not order them from a dealer. GM Parts Direct has the harness for the mirrors @ over $500 and the mirrors are $350+ per
Right Electric Folding Mirror for '96-00 Coupe: 22635716
Left Electric Folding Mirror for '96-00 Coupe: 22635717
Wiring harness for power folding mirrors: 22626407
but to answer your question, you would have to order them seperately.
ight, now what about the taillights?
make your own. its not hard if u go to junker and cut out 2 sets of taillight pigtails and connectors...i have it all mapped out to make some for a similar setup on my custom tails and after i drew out the wiring and stuff is when i realized how easy it would be to make your own toyo tail harness...
check ebay thats were i got mine from and they came with the harness
where would the best place to get the mirrors from be if not from the dealer?
You Know How It Is
I got mine from E-Bay ($180 from some guy in Japan) and found a informative webpage that told how to wire them up yourself. Everything from what JDM color wires match to US stock colors to cutting the white wire in the steering column and splicing the third brake light. I've had mine in a '97 Z24 (totalled) and now my '99 Z24. They work and look great. It's a cheesy website (nothing like this), but it has all the JDM part numbers and installation instructions. Search Google and you should find it.

You only need one pair of 3157 sockets.
Did mine without the actual harness and Autozone sockets
.
Awesome site Lenko, alot better then it used to look. Until now, I didn't know that it was yours.
Hey Lenko,
I've been to yours numerous times, but it's not the one I was thinking of, unless you redid it.
The website I remember had pictures of cars and parts in a yellow border on a black background. The writing was in blue for explanations and yellow for part numbers.
I like your website. Very classy. I also like the different shades of writing you used, as well as the pictures shown. Very informative!!
If it WAS your website I'm thinking of from about 4-5 years ago, then thanks for the write ups!! You actually helped me wire up my Toyota Tails!!!
