Type J fitment problems

I have an 02 Base coupe that just had the type j kit fitted onto it. The rear bumper has a few slight waves below the trunk lid. Has anyone experienced this? Or have any fixes for this? The body lines are all even and line up very nicely.

Also, The side skirts are about 1/3" too long. The guy that fit them onto the car simply made up for that space by adding a spacer. It doesn't look bad, unless you know it is there then it becomes an eyesore. Has anyone experienced this and is there a fix for it?

the rear wave isn't unheard of. most people just fab up some L brackets and put them in place under the bumper to help support the middle of it. usually helps.

as for the skirts, i have the type j sides, and i havn't had that problem, so i don't know what to tell you about that other than just keep the spacer and try to ignore it.
