wondering if any one had pics of 96 gt without trim on doors, and does the door still sit flush with front and rear body?

It's not really "trim" per say that is on the sides of a Sunfire GT. It's door panels and side skirts that have plugs on them and the plugs go into holes in the doors, fenders and rear quarter panels. If you wanted to remove the door panels and side skirts, you would have about 16 holes per side that would need to be welded shut.

Here are two pictures of Wild Weasel's Sunfire GT with the door panels and side skirts removed:

As far as whether the door would still sit flush, the answer is yes. If you removed the door panels and side skirts, you would be left with the same doors that a Sunfire SE has.

The idea of removing the door panels and side skirts is actually something I have been playing around with for a while now, however I know the cost to weld all the holes and re-paint everything would be astronomical so we'll see what I inevitably decide. I guess if you really wanted to do this, the best and cheapest route would probably be to get doors from a Cavalier or Sunfire SE so there wouldn't be as many holes that would need to be welded shut. Just my .02 though.

No problem .

If you like the look of it you might want to go ahead and at least check with some body shops around you to see how much it would be to weld the holes shut and re-paint everything. I am going to check with my body shop for the hell of it as soon as I can find time to get over there. It might not be too bad of a price.
