I dont really see the point in putting in both neons and LEDs....

1. There prolly wont be enough room for both
2. Both have their good points, but are negated when you put in both at once...
3. Its a waste of money.

Sure, neons have a more evenly spread out light glow, but LEDs are more resistant to stress and weathering...

i've got the 7 color l.e.d kit and it puts out a even glow under the car and there are no dots on the ground or anything like that..and its BRIGHT!...well atleast bright enough for a cop to see it from a couple hundred feet away lol....but running both would be absolutely pointless...well underglow in general is kinda pointless after a while of having it and realizing it will only get you in trouble but its easy to wire up and mount. the kits come with a main box where you turn it off and on from and you want to put it in your car ( i mounted mine right under the steering wheel area to the left and it looks good imo) then just run the power wire from the control box (your gonna need to extend it) out the firewall through one of the rubber grommets and put an in-line fuse in ( you dont need anything thick for wire, i used 16ga wire and a 5amp inline fuse) and connect it to the batt. Then just pull up the threshold or doorsill and drill a little hole or find an exisiting ground and run the wire for the ground. Then theres the thicker wire that runs outside of the car to the actual tubes themselves. Just run this wire out the firewall as well and be careful when running the wires down the engine bay and under the car not to place them by any moving parts. I just used a lot of wire ties and took my time. All in all easy. I would also recommend using a rocker switch or some other switch with a l.e.d indicator on it because the box most underglow kits on dont have an on indicator, you just have to look out the window and see if they are on. So wire up a switch first and run the power to the switch. And to mount the tubes the kits come with hardware and you can also use zipt ties. I'll try to get some pics for u tomorrow.

I LOVE how people love to post and not answer a question... thats a WASTE of time.

use the damn search button. this topic has been covered numerous times.

you want to know what the real waste of time is...taking the time to answer the same question over and over and over again because people are too lazy to search

good luck on your project

You know whats even a BIGGER waste of time...? Posting to argue to search rather then post a damn answer. Thats the point of a f*ckin forum, posting with other members. If people are just to search for absolutly everything, then its an archive. Besides, I don't remember seeing people post very often about installing two underglow kits. I know of ONE member who had it done, which was "Area 51", and he doesn't even have his car anymore. So yea, its been posted "sooo many times"

OK one calm down if you havent realized on this forum from other posts that start off like yours is if you are rude and reply with negative remarks even if your just rude you will not get any help from anyone. I will get you pics while im at a show today to answer one of your questions.

Not sure what you have a cavy or a fire but if you have a cavy the way i did mine was on the front use zip ties and i sip tied it to the back of that plastic piece under the front bumper that way you can see the light out put but no tube, on the side using the mounting hard ware given to hold the side tubes into place use those plus some self tapping screws and behind the pinch weld is where i placed the sides. Now on the driver side be careful as the fuel lines run down that side. On the back I put it up as far as i could on the spare tire wheel well using longer self tapping screws and the plastic/metal tube holders. If you install it this way none of your tubes will be visible from any direction unless you get on your knees and look under your car.

This is what it should look like with the lights on

like i said i will try to get you mounting pics later today. Oh and if your wondering yes you can put both underneath your car not sure of how much the differance it will be, and it took me about 2.5 hours to install these. They are the streetglow neon gold series under bodies.

oh btw. you don't have to search anywhere. if you took the time to read the posts in your own thread you would realize I made a comment about the post directly above yours. But, if you can't be spoon fed information I don't know how in the hell your going to figure this one out. I'll just continue to live in fear of your scary internet comments. Good luck trying to get help with your charming personality.

i have a friend who has two sets (different colors) on his underbody and interior... and switches to match... they look sick... especially with the transformer which alternates certain colors (blue or green) or both within a song...

he has them attached right behind his side skirts on the sides and then on the frame under the radiator on the front... and then the rear frame on the back. hope thats not to vague

in my post if you look instead of bitching it tells where and how to run wires...did you not ask where to run the wires....i think it says it there in RED...and i gave you insight to your @!#$ 2 underglow kits= its rather pointless!...and ok, my post might have been about how to wire up one (1) underglow kit, well putting two would be the exact same thing, just two different switches! and why does everyone always have to act like a hard-ass on the web and make smartass comments??? you asked a question and people are nice enough to quote on quote "waste" their time and reply..you should be thankful!

hey fool if you wont take advice when you ask for it, then you should probably live on a deserted island with monkeys. everyone is gonna try to give you advice but you dont have to take it, but when you ask for it its almost a requirement to at least sit on and ponder about it. If this doesnt suit you then just leave and dont ask for help, its just that easy!
