want to change the headlights to HID projectors. BUT, can only find ones for 95-99 Cavis. I have01 conversion headlights and 2001 z24 bumper on a 95 cavi. Will that be a problem? I know the 01's are a little bigger, but anything else I should be aware of? since 95's are smaller, if I pop them on, will the brackets fit, or more importantly, won't there be a huge gap between the bumper and hood? I want to make the purchase ASAP, please HELP!
I know the 95-99 use dual bulbs. The HID kit I have is a single 9007 bulb connection. Is there a way to still use my existing 9007 and hook up another set? or put my fog light bulbs into one of the 95-99 light sockets?? ME CONFUSED!!! ><

You have a 95 cav, with 01 front end, you bought 9007 HID kit.. meaning you cant use that 9007 kit in a 95-99 headlight housing, because the bulb wont fit in the headlights without some cutting of the headlights. No one produces projectors for 2000-2002 cavs, Josh at IZNTRBL.com custom fits projectors or you can make them yourself.
as for going to 99s with 00 bumper you will have about a 2" gap between bumper and headlight. If you have 2000 fenders, you will need to go back to 99 fenders to be able to mount the turn signals.
i guess ur second reply ur talking about if u go to 99 headlights can u use your 9007 kit, no not unless u cut the headlight for the bulb to fit,

the problem's not the bulb, since I already have a 9007 socket HID system. What I was thinking, is to put the HID into the projector, and re-route the fog lights into the second light bracket, and use them as regular driving lights (since there's a swtitch for em)
Any inputs, guys?? I really need help for this =(

I've already ordered the headlights. So if I can't refund it, I'll have to just make the bst of it.
I'm on limited funds, so I'm just exploring options.
Next time if u want to make a definitive judgement, at least ask what's going on first.
umm it has nothing to do with being a baller, just change the wiring back to how it was before it got converted to an 01 theres no need to use your fog lights as your headlights and rig it up, your askin for disaster by doing it half assed and even if you half ass it the hid bulbs and the fog bulbs arnt going to fit into your 95-99 headlights and it will be even more half assed......
well I'm asking because my 01 lamps I'm changing into HID's, aI know the brackets won't fit right.
Foglights I have a switch for and it's a small bulb.
But my only worry is wiring.
I can't return my HID set 'cuz i only had 15 days. it's already been a month =(
so I'm trying to see what I can do in terms of achieving middle ground.
Every wiring job I'll need to do would set me back couple hundred =(

turn sig brackets, get ur self a pair of 95-99 fenders and ur good, or cut the brackets off 95-99 fenders and weld it to ur fenders

i thought the 95-99 headlights are one piece??? I have 2001 brackets in them right now, can I just unbolt them? or do they need to be cut?
