What is your thoughts on painting the rear assembly and tail-lights black, instead of using Nightshades. I would tape around the circles of the brake, tail-light and reverse lights. Also would this be legal. Sort of giving it the look of a COBALT??
i did the night shaders first then painted mine to match the color of my car.. so the round circles are tinted.
it can be done! i'd personally paint over the reverse lights to, for that inners shaved look!

DUDE! i just did that like 30 minutes ago on my 04, i did a paintjob and figured eh this is a little better than stock. I'll post pics once i wetsand it.
i did it on a buddies car. both of these were done like that the 02 style and 03 style here you go. sorry its the best pic of the 03 style i could find that i have
mine is painted arrival blue to match the car. i just did the tail panel and left the tail lights stock. looks pretty good. just make sure you sand the part numbers off it first or they will look like A$$ when its painted.

it depends where your doing it. i don't know if it's legal here so i left my tail lights stock. plus there's less chance or getting rear ended because they didn't see me.
