2000+ fog light issue solved....read.

I have been searching high and low for the socket to wire 2000+ fog lights into a car that did not originally come with them. I had seen some posts on here where people were looking for them, so I decided to do some investigating. I called local junkyards, e-mailed JBO members, and even resorted to going to a dealer. Well, no junkyards or JBO members had them and GM wanted something like $50 each for them.

So, after searching, then searching, then searching some more----I have found a solution. I found a website that offers a plug to fit an 880 bulb (00+ fog light bulb) for around $19 a piece

Check it out:

880 bulb socket

I had to post this as I am extremely excited/relieved to find this.

Wish I woud've known you were looking. Local junkyard has all of that, I could've gotten it all for free the other day while I was picking up some misc. stuff. They had a rolled '01 Z24.

There was a site where I picked up the harnesses for an '03 Sunfire highbeam which had decent pricing, though it now escapes me,

After posting this, I actually managed to somehow find the socket cheaper than the 2 sites posted.

$10.96 and they list the matching GM part number.

Cheapest socket
