The only Toyo Cav parts I saw were for a set of folding mirrors and a pair of side marker lights. What search terms did you use?

This fiberglass body kit will fit a 1995-1999 Chevy Cavalier.

that statement alone shows that he doesn't have a clue what he's talking about.

the type j front bumper is urethane (and i doubt anyone's made a fiberglass version) and it's for a 00-02 cavalier (larger headlights).

well cannon not to contradict because i agree with most of your statement that doesnt look like urethane to me it looks like fiberglass, that would be sweet if someone was making it in fiberglass

So how exactly did you determine that it looks like fiberglass? You have a picture of it from the front. It's damn near impossible to tell from that picture what's it's made of.

x2
its all urethane, all rksport, and all for very cheap price.

and i dont know about any of you, but there is no way a movie would buy a urethane kit, to make a f/g mold of it to put on their cars.. unless they planned on @!#$ it up and wanted a better shattering effect... even then.. i doubt they'd sell the kit.

because i have never seen yellow urethane not to say its not primed or not a different color urethane from the initial appearance it looks like fiberglass. its not entirely impossible to think that somebody made a fiberglass version, companies are doing knockoffs all the time

I think its Fiberglass, cus if you look where you bolt the bumper its like Green or White like Fiberglass is, and it would be Black if it was urethane. Greg.Z i just looked up Cavalier and All the Exterior Parts.

But... the kit is green in the picture. So, yellow? Ah, no biggie.

The whole sale screams BS. 2Fast2Furious car... EEEEEERRRR!!! Wrong. Fits 95-99 Cavis... EEEERRRRRRR!!! Wrong. Adjustable Eibach lowering springs... EEEEEEERRRR! Wrong. At least he has HALF of the kit right. Cause from the pics, the rear IS for a 95-99. If it is fiberglass, its the first knock-off I've seen. But its obvious this wasnt HIS car.

And last, but certainly not least:
My shipping price can be negotiated so please ask!!!

*Translation*: I am full of it and just need to get these parts gone ASAP!

CAVEAT EMPTOR!

Item: CAVALIER BODY KIT AND WHEEL/TIRE COMBO - MUST SEE!!!!!! (110147284961)
This message was sent while the listing was active.
sgalvan8 is the seller.

I got the entire set from a friend. My dad verified and said that the side skirts and the rear bumper may be made out of some sort of resin, but the bumper is indeed fiberglass. In plain sight, you can see the fibers of the fiberglass on the inside of the bumper, because its not painted. If you want, I can take some digital pictures of the inside of the bumper and email them to you if you are interested. Thanks for the message..

i would like to know who produced, fiberglass type j would be significantly cheaper

Definitely paint and not a gel coat............RkSport sell their molds?..Probably not. Then they wouldn't be able to charge people an arm and a leg due to so many of their knock off kits being sold by different companies. They would be forced have competitive prices. It doesn't look like there has been any noticeble changes to the kit. So, wouldn't there be some ground for a law suit by RKS if it was actually mass produced. But who knows...It could have been done by someone

When RKSport made the Type J Kit back in 2001 I think, they had made a few FIBERGLASS versions of it while waiting for the urethane molds to be completed. Back in 2002/2003 when I was at RKSport picking up products, I did see they had a few FIberglass bumpers laying around. Chances are, if that is a real Fiberglass bumper, it either came off a SEMA Car or a different show car RKSport had sent the bumpers to (before the urethane stuff had come out) OR RKSport sold them back in 2002/2003 and its being resold again.

I belieave it is cuz i have never seen a white urethane...

Re: Type-J Front Bumper in Fiberglass

I believe its FG because the last body kit I bought was that horrible green colour too, and also if it was urethane it would be leaning one way or the other, when I removed my xenon urethane kit from my car there was no way it could sit perfectly straight like the one shown in the ad is...
