I am thinking of purchasing an HID set-up. What is a good brand to look at and where can I get it?

Izntrbl does custom HID/projector housings and wiring kits for J-bodies, but at the time I post this, his site is down.

whatever you do...please get projectors before get HID's..

from there..i recomment Xenon HID's...they're off ebay but I've heard good things about them.

i'm actually running a HID kit off a stock IS 300 Lexus and my projectors but i custom modded 'em.

but please be responsible when it comes to HID's...they aren't meant to be put in a stock cavaler housing...PERIOD.

Well screw that idea then, I sure as hell can't afford to buy projectors right now.

yeah but then I'd have to take my lenses back apart and I'd probablly screw it up and they'd leak

I made my HIDS with some parts laying around in my freinds garage. And I'm also using the stock headlight housing. First rule don't run a high bulb and it won't heat up as much. I'm using a 6k bulb and its gets hot but not to a melting point. I wired up a pair of slimline ballasts(motorcycle ballasts) mainly cause regular ballasts are way too big for my taste and they would interfere with intercooler piping for my next mod.
