Ok ive been looking around and i did a search but no clear answer i want to convert my z24 to look like the JDM cavilier anyone have any tips
start buying parts. there are a ton of interior pieces you can buy, taillights, mirrors, fenders, badges
well right now im looking at the amber corners and fog lights is that JDM cause it looks good imo

I still don't see why people try to make the JDM parts that look like Honda JDM parts instead of ordering REAL JDM parts for our cars... Does this bother anyone else?

I didn't do it to look like a JDM honda, I did it simply becuase I like the way it looks. I could really care less what country my parts are made in as long as they look good.
this is also why im doing this one i didnt care if it was JDM i just like it and thought hell if its JDM all the better
In my eyes it just looks cheap cause I know how it is done, and what the owner is trying to pull off. I for one don't think any car here has pulled it off yet 100%. I even told Brandon that something just looks off about them, but he said he had something else about to happen to make it look a lot better. So we will see, but go for the real stuff they are not that much.
yeah but not that much to you and not that much to me are proly diff im tryin to go to college and pay rent and food and everything working at kfc till oct. so money is tight now

well some would say its a rice thing but i got a set of toyo tails, real jdm corners, real trd eyebrows, and more toyo parts coming so
Well I'm also tight on cash right, but what I do what I can to get a few new things to the car. Those months that I can't do anything I clean the hell out of it, and just try to do as much up keep on the 3 J's I have right now. I'm thinkin' of selling the Winter 95Z24, but I'm not sure if I'm going to do it or not. For me I just always have liked those hard to find rare parts that are the JDM/Toyota parts for us. I've got the remade kit, 2 sets of Toyota power folding mirrors, Toyota Tails lights, Toyota Visors, TRD eyelids, and so to be a few more goodies here to come.

For all those that took me wrong I only said something about the painted corners, not the real Toyota parts.
Steve - You know I want that car... Don't tease me like that when I don't have any extra money to even think about it. I've thought about selling 2 of my cars and pay out the rest to get that. My only thing is I would have to do a 5-speed swap in such a rare car...

to see the look on ppl's faces when they see a right hand drive cavalier that TRD made would be the absolute most priceless experience id ever have with a cavalier.
I have a question that goes with this thread. If you order toyota fenders, are there inner fenders you need to order as well? It just seems to me that if the toyota fenders are wider the inners should be too. Getting ready to order mine, so any help would be appreciated. If this is true, does anyone have the part numbers for the inners? Thanks!
