Well I only know of one person that has the part #'s. The book was sold to Steve at Street-Line. I'm sure since he controls most of the Toyota parts it might be hard to get them, but now he can get everything after a someone reads it in Japanese. So that makes it kinda hard to find the numbers. Look for that post you had going, and that will be your best bet.

i just called my local gm dealer asking about the leather wrapped steering wheel, i gave them the part number you listed tabs, it came up correctly and all, my cost is $213.00. problem was the guy said they DID have them in stock in lancing MI, but that they might require a VIN number in order to get it. problem being:a chev cav vin aint going to work.

anybody have a toyo cav VIN number i could use?

Hmm they don't need a VIN. I'm thinking they just can't pull it up in the system like most parts. I had my par guys order me some Toyota parts and they didn't like the way it came up in the computer. Cause they can only put in the part number to look up the part instead of by the car.

well you cannot get the 95-99 lights at the dealership anymore.... I was there not too long ago and its a bad # now. The 00 ones still work however.

When i got my toyo fenders, they asked me for what they were going on to be sure of fitment guarantee. Soooo...... explaining to the parts guy what a Toyota cavalier was definitely was a fun time.

email ANYONE who sells cav JDM/TRD parts on ebay and are located in japan and ask if they can get you the VIN # off of the car. just make up a BS excuse like "i want to make sure they will fit". since most of the parts are coming from junked cars, they have no reason not to try and help you out. your dealer probably wants the vin because all of the toyota parts are listed in their computers as "export only" and most dealerships wont sell them due to that (although you can find a few that dont care). also check out gmpartsdirect.com to see how much they sell them for.

yes, thats exactly right. exactly what they said.

i didnt have a problem with them selling it to me, i know all the guys down there real well and they said they could try and get it, but didnt know if it was even possible. they said they would put the order in and see what happened once i had the $$ to pay for it.

Just sell your car and buy a real Toyota Cavalier from us and get it over with.

Do the manual folding mirrors only come on the sedan? Or can the sedan mirrors fit the coupe?
