The new Pontiac emblem GM unveiled on the G8 show car at the 2007 Chicago Auto Show. The silver emblem was created to replace the conventional red Pontiac logo we've grown accustomed over the past 40 years or so.

I don't get out to the big name auto shows much (doesn't help living in the sticks)...
Don't think the emblem will be available anytime soon. At least not now. Read up on the G6 Auto Salon show car. Says it has many things the actually G8 production will not, such as custom leather wrapped dash, interior, steering wheel, Phantom Grey paint, lowered stance by an extra 1/2", ghost chrome wheels and
modernized Pontiac concept emblem. So we can only hope.
Snip from the article:
"G8 GT show car details
The G8 show car unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show is representative of the production GT model, including use of the 362-horsepower (270 kW) 6.0L V-8 engine and optional six-speed manual transmission. The show car also features some unique items not found on the production model, including:
* Twenty-inch “shadow chrome” wheels and performance tires
* Ride height lowered approximately half-inch
* High-performance brake rotors with painted brake calipers
* Custom interior trim color, including a leather-wrapped dash
* Exclusive exterior paint color: Phantom Grey
* Concept of “modernized” Pontiac badge, to gauge public opinion."
I love it. If they start producing them I'll be all over it.
